Just regular kinds of stuff that happened (that doesn’t fit in other categories).

I don’t know

These are the three smartest words in the world, “I don’t know”.

I ask lots of questions. Many times it becomes more questions because instead of saying “I don’t know” people feel the need to give an answer, eventually I notice it doesn’t make sense so I ask more questions. It’s a viscous cycle, especially since I have to backtrack and figure out when the information went sour…

When someone says “I don’t know” it gives more credibility to the other things they said (it says I know what I know and what I don’t know). It seems silly that “I don’t know” can be a good thing but just think about the people who don’t know what they don’t know.

Lunch Outside

So for the second day in a row I got to eat lunch outside! It was so great outside with the sunshine and barely any clouds. I wish it could be like this on a weekend…

It’s been really quiet at work this week. Most of the staff have the week off since they are teachers or principals. Most of the rest of them took the week off anyway for a trip or because their kids have the week off (or just because).

Terry Shiavo case on Weekend America

Weekend America had an interesting ten minute segment on the Terry Shiavo case this weekend. I thought it was interesteing and had a lot more info than the little 45 second snippets I mostly hear. I thought it was interesting enough to share. It’s available Real Audio or MP3 (go about 2 minutes in) (or as a podcast). Is it Terri or Terry? (Yes, I know it’s Theresa).

The bright side

I do have to agree with Judi the is one good thing out of the Terri Schiavo media coverage: people are thinking and talking about what their wishes are. I just hope they’re writing them down also…

I hope that some families do this and it helps avoid the problems and pain the Terri’s family is having.

MYOB: So I’ve kept my mouth shut on the Schiavo stories…

So everyone is chatting about Schiavo whom they don’t know about just giving their two cents. I haven’t give my two cents but since you asked, I would say it’s time to let her go, no matter what end you measure it from it’s probably the best thing in the long run.

But that’s not why I’m here today. I’m here for something far more local and that I actually have a little bit of an opinion on because it happens in my neighborhood.

Want your art in a famous museum?!?

Hope to have your art in a famous museum someday? Why wait? Just go hang it yourself!!!

A guy did this in The Brooklyn Museum, The Museum of Natural History, the Metropolitan Museum and New York’s Museum of Modern Art. This is something if I tried it, I’d get caught and accused of stealing the art! (FYI – Tesco is a European grocery/department store.)

“How can you live in New York and not understand sarcasm!!!”

I just love this show… (Thursday nights at 8 PM and 8:30 PM EST)
