The television show.

So I have some conflicts on Monday nights.

  • Chuck
  • How I Met Your Mother
  • Heroes
  • The Big Bang Theory
  • Journeyman
  • Two and a Half Men

I’m sure some of it will start to get old but right now it’s kind of entertaining.

That’s four-and-a-half hours of TV in three hours, but if I FF through the commercials, I can probably do it in 3.

I really like Chuck but I think it’ll start to get old. And I’m certain Journeyman will get older sooner. The other 1/2 hour shows will be handy for something to watch while I’m eating breakfast or maybe at lunch via the laptop….

BigbangtheoryThe first episode of Big Bang Theory is now available as a free┬ádownload from Amazon Unbox. You can put it on your TiVo(!) or on your PC. Supposedly there are other CBS show for free but I can’t find them…

This is an awesome show. It’s about a few geeks (science dorks) and the cute (but ditzy) girl next door. If you know any geeks you’ll love this show. It’s by the guy who did Two and a Half Men (and I think Dharma and Greg).

I’m sure this is only free for a limited time….

FYI – Here are MY FALL 2006 descriptions (I see the search engines keep picking up this older page and it’s 2006 now…).

Here’s a grid for the Fall 2005 TV lineup: We’ve got Eastern/Pacific and Central.

Here’s my issues (because I know you care) with the lineup:

    • Two and a Half Men is still on at the same time as Las Vegas.
    • Commander-in-Chief is on the same time as Sex, Lies, & Secrets (and Supernatural and Bones, but I’m not so sure about these).
    • Veronica Mars is on the same time as Lost.
    • Smallville is on the same time as Alias (and Joey, although I can live without).

There is a lot on there that I don’t know what they are so that may be a few more issues for me. I may have to learn how to set up BitTorrent to download my shows automatically if they are going to have so many conflicts….

2.5 hours and a Two and a Half Men marathon is pure entertainment. As always they entertained me way more than the average show. They just crack me up!!!

I love Two and a Half Men. It’s always worth a laugh or two (or three). Lots of funny Jake tonight; sometimes he’s not so funny Jake. I’m laughing just sitting here writing this. :)

I think it’s them singing at the end (them lip-syncing to their own voices). Although I’m not sure about that last note…

So speaking of Two and a Half Men and my search engine traffic (see a few days ago). I get a lot of people finding me via searches like “two and a half men AND charlie sheen short sleeve shirts”, I score in the top 10 on Google and Yahoo! with that one. It’s odd enough that I mentioned it and that people search for it but there was just a short little thing in Cargo magazine about him and his shirts.

Jake.2.5So I just got off the phone, said I was going to LOL while I watched Two and a Half Men and then off to bed. And sure enough, that show totally cracks me up. Jake (Angus T. Jones) had a big part, which I’ve been complaining about lately how scarce he is. He’s the straight man for his divorced Dad and playboy Uncle’s antics. (Mondays at 9:30 on CBS).

Jake is back! THis show always makes me laugh, but I’d been a little sad that Jake (the 1/2) hadn’t been on (barely) the last few weeks. This week was better. If you’re not watching this show you should, you can always catch Las Vegas in the re-runs…

I love Two and a Half men, but Jake was barely on the last two episodes. He’s really a good part of the show, especially showing how goofy the “adults” really are…

It’s gotta be the most sitcom-ish show I’ve ever been hooked on and I generally laugh out loud at it. I was very pleased to see that my TiVo taped an episode I hadn’t seen before on Saturday (it’s a Monday show). It wasn’t as polished as some of the episodes but I still laughed.

Here’s the question! Do you like the short-sleeve shirts (with the odd patters or strips) that Charlie Sheen wears? I’m not sure, I saw some at the store the other day and just couldn’t decide if I liked them…

    3. Which sitcom did you used to like, but now it just seems too hokey?

Here’s my 100 things about me page. (If you’re looking for my 101 in 1001 days list go here.) To follow the theme that I’ve found on many other sites, partially to see what I come up with and to let others see what I come up with. I’ve broken this down a bit: I like, I dislike, I am, I’ve live in, I wish I understood more about, places I’ve been and before I die…

It’s interesting how many of these things I’ve blogged about so far…

UPDATE: December 2004/June 2005. I just came here to update this. I can’t believe how much it has not changed. The People’s Choice Awards honor Joan_ of Arcadia as best new television drama. CBS picked it up for another season!

Two and a Half Men won best comedy and also was renewed for next season. It’s pretty funny, it’s the most sitcom-ish thing I watch on TV.
