One of the best parts of How I Met Your Mother is when they mention a web site in the show, such as
“It was the best night ever dot com“, they’ve actually gone and got the site ItWasTheBestNightEver.com
And the site actually has some photos and a video of Marshall singing the song with Nuno Bettencourt.
It’s just one of those silly things that I enjoy when TV shows go the extra mile.
(Although, I thought the episode was a little slow otherwise)
Is there still one slap left?

UPDATE (Sunday evening): So I finally watched these “episodes”. They weren’t real episodes, they were just a few minutes long and they were “videos” of they’re honeymoon. They’re pretty bad too, but then again aren’t home movies supposed to be? I’m not sure what kind of promotion they shot these for, but they end with a still frame with an advertisement for the show. It was the fact that these appeared to be “lost” episodes that made me ask if the show was canceled, since these aren’t much more than some kind of odd promo/commercial I retract the original question.

So I have some conflicts on Monday nights.
I’m sure some of it will start to get old but right now it’s kind of entertaining.
That’s four-and-a-half hours of TV in three hours, but if I FF through the commercials, I can probably do it in 3.
I really like Chuck but I think it’ll start to get old. And I’m certain Journeyman will get older sooner. The other 1/2 hour shows will be handy for something to watch while I’m eating breakfast or maybe at lunch via the laptop….
So I just kept thinking while watching this episode that the tough girl looked an awful lot like Mandy Moore. Then I saw in the credits that Mandy Moore did one of the songs and thought that was a coincidence. Duh! It really was Mandy Moore on the show.
But the best part was at the end, when they showed you the http://www.SlapCountDown.com/ web site!!! (If you didn’t watch the show last season, I can’t explain it). Continue reading
