Premium Chicken Sandwich – The Thursday Threesome

Onesome: PremiumHave you tried any of the fast food empire’s ‘Premium’ sandwiches lately? Was it any good?
I just tried the new a Sirloin Steakhouse Cheesesteak Sandwich (sliced beef, cheese, onions peppers and some kind of parmesan sauce on a new bun/roll) at Arby’s but they don’t list it on their web site so it must be a trial of some sort. It was delicious and they sell it as a wrap too.
Twosome: ChickenChicken, beef, fish, tofu… What’s your dietary staple?
Mostly beef and chicken. If it’s fish it’s generally scrimp (or fast food). The Deluxe Chicken at Burger King is delicious too.
Threesome: Sandwich Let’s do lunch! Do we head for that fast food place? …or will noon find us over at your favorite deli noshing down?
Generally at lunch (M-F) is fast food, maybe a Panera (usually if I know I’m working late

Enormous Omelet Sandwich – The Meal

BkomeletI know I mentioned it before but I finally had an Enormous Omelet Sandwich at Burger King. It’s delicious!!! I ate the whole thing, I almost always never finish a whole huge burger. Two sausage patties, cheese, egg, bacon all on a huge sub-like bun. I had to rush to get out of the house because it was 10:30 and I was afraid they were about to stop serving but I made it and it was delicious!!!

Enormous Omelet Sandwich

BkomeletA lot of people on-line are complaining about the Enormous Omelet Sandwich at Burger King. It’s unhealthy and people are obese already and it shouldn’t be allowed, etc.

I gotta say, it does look yummy. I could never eat a whole one or if I did, it would take a long time (I’m a slow eater). I’d think we need to outlaw the companies that make deserts first, the whole “purpose” of desserts is to be unhealthy.

I figure as long as we allow:

  • The gun companies sell to people without hunting licenses.
  • Stores to sell cigarettes to the healthy (or the un-healthy).
  • We let bars and restaurants serve (and let people leave) after clearly drinking too much.
  • We should probably let Burger King sell huge (enormous) omelet sandwiches.

Okay, I had breakfast (bacon, egg, cantaloupe and orange juice) and I just had a bowl of cereal. I’m starving after seeing pictures of this sandwich. I’d go get one right now if they were still serving breakfast.

    Another nice Saturday!

So it’s another nice Saturday in the Detroit area (Dearborn actually). Lots of sunshine and it’s not too cold either. Got the car washed, went to the library, ran a few errands and got and sandwich at Burger King. I’m posting this at the WiFi BK, their WiFi is semi-screwed up again but I managed to get around it get it to work.

Need to do some organizing around the house but I’ll wait until the sun is shining into that room. Not much of an exciting weekend but it’s nice to relax and get a bit more sleep than usual…

    Why Ask?

Why ask me if it’s for “here or to go” if it doesn’t affect how you are going to give it to me? I think they (BK) even asked me twice and still gave it to me to go…

    Airport Express

I’m not sure exactly why I bought the Apple Airport Express. That might sound silly but it’s not just one device, it’s not two, it’s not even only three, it’s FOUR (yes four!) devices in one.

    1. It’ll work as a WiFi router. Can I tell you how easy this was to use? I was at my local Burger King and the WiFi was down again but the wired connection was up. So instead of sitting by the noisy TVs I plugged in the express to the wall and a RJ-45 (phone-like cord) into the ethernet jack and my laptop asked if I wanted to join the new network. That was it! I’m now wireless sitting in my comfy corner.
    2. A WiFi Extender. Does your WiFi network start to fade at the far end of the house? Put this somewhere where you still get a signal and it will extend the range farther for you.
    3. A music (i.e. iTunes) streamer. Computer in the other room with all your music on it? Plug in the optional audio cables into the AirPort Express next to your stereo and you can listed to your iTunes ianywhere in the house!
    4. Printer Adapter. Want to share a printer? Plug a USB printer into the port and you can print to it from anywhere in the house!
It works for Windows and Macintosh (but I haven’t tried the printing yet) and it’s great!

    RE: Blogs – 11

    1. Have you ever blogged something you’ve regretted in the morning? Do you leave it? Delete it? Pray that no one reads it?
If I regret it, I’d delete it. I thinking of it as the Post-its of my life, they can be removed at any time.
    2. Last week, RE: Blogs asked about the location from which you blog. This week, RE: Blogs asks for a photo of your favorite blogging environment. If you don’t have a camera ready – or aren’t willing to share a photo – – describe your favorite blogging place to the best of your ability
I blog from everywhere. I use ecto and it lets me save posts while off line, then I can manually post when on-line. I can always hook up my cell phone to connect and a few restaurants (Burger King and Panera) have WiFi.
    3. What do you like most in a blog post by another blogger? Personal experiences? Fictional stories? News/Current events? Tech advice? Share some of your favorites from this week (either yours, or someone elses).
Personal experiences – either funny or drama, I wait for the next installment of their life. Tech advice is great, if it weren’t for others, I’d never use Movable Type as well as I do.
