Here’s some Marketing for you…

So while watching NBC’s Medium this week, the couple go see a preview of the Memoirs of a Geisha movie. They show a full page ad in the newspaper and a big color poster at the theater and mention the name more than a few times. So when they go to commercial, guess what movie I see an advertisement for?

So I’ve removed the BlogSnob Ads.

The Blogsnob ads (the boxes that list another one or two web sites) were loading slowly so I took them off. Especially when the didn’t load at all they screwed up the columns on my first page. It was nice because they referred a lot of traffic to my site, but it’s not the first (or second) time they’ve goofed it up. I think every time someone clicked on one it made my site show up on someone else’s (and vice-versa). Can anyone suggest something similar but more reliable?
