Veronica Mars (Season End)

Written By: Gary on May 10, 2005 6 Comments

Very exciting season ending!!! I liked!

I never suspected who the killer really was.

I want to know what happened on the bridge?

And I’m wondering who was there at the end…

WARNING: Some spoilers are in the comments (I tried to be vague above).

The number of twists and turns in the plot last week and tonight was surreal. How did they write that? How did they keep track? They must have been saving up story turns all season just to unleash them in these past two episodes.

My first thought was that she called Weevil to find Logan, but how would she know where he was? Weevil must have been following him, or just happened upon him. Is Logan off to meet his mother?

Maybe V’s mother had a change of heart and came back with the check… Nah.

    Since V isn’t Duncan’s sister… is it booty time?

    Stay tuned.

The last few episodes have definately been great with some interesting twists. The killer was a nice twist, but thinking back on it they have been leading up to it for awhile.

Weevil – My guess is he was following Logan because he thought Logan was the killer. Weevil was going to beat the crap out of Logan when he was taken in for questioning. As the episode was presented neither was aware of the discovery of the tapes.

What I also like is at the end Papa Kane was arrested for obstruction of justice. Keith Mars was only partially wrong in accusing the Kanes.

It will be interesting to see what they do next year if they get a chance. I think it did ok ratings wise, but without the murder investigation it could degenerate into a teen soap opera type thing.

Veronica Mars has already been renewed for a second season. I think that UPN had no choice… fans would have lit the building on fire had they not.

Logan must survive, at least for a little while, because he’s been confirmed for next season. Besides, how else are we going to have the Logan-Duncan-Veronica love triangle? :-)

Is it me, or is there something strange about the comments to this post being all from guys (at least, that’s my assumption)?

I know the show is slanted towards a younger audience, but the writing is just stellar (reminds me of Buffy). They even get the tech right most of the time.
