So this is just a quick update as to what I’ve been up to. I’m been having some problem typing so here’s a video to explain why…

(Oops, this was set to “private” originally. I fixed it now….)

So they tell me when I fractured on my thumb it’s a Proximal Phalanx Fracture but they think it’s gonna be okay. Here’s a little picture of the x-ray (click for a bigger view), they say it’s going to be fine after wearing this cast for a while bit longer.

Damn! Hearing the details just makes me wince. What a tough situation. Hope you surprise everyone with an extra fast recovery.

Omigosh Gary! I hope you recover rapidly. Where were you skiing at?
We were supposed to take our students skiing yesterday (Bittersweet in Otsego, MI) but decided to delay a couple of weeks for exactly the same reason you crashed. With the recent weather the conditions would be icy and really fast. Too scary for first time skiers, heck and me too!

Yikes! I hope your thumb feels better soon! Every time I hurt a finger, I always forget then try to type with it… wah :(
