MailBlocks Service is discontinued tomorrow (don’t forget your refund)

Don’t forget the Mailblocks service is discontinued tomorrow, November 16th, at Noon. So copy/migrate your mail and don’t forget to get your refund.

The more I play with it, the more I like SpamArrest and a substitute. I’ve mentioned it before and been playing around with it the past few days.

For the refund: You’ll need your mailing address, phone number, birth date, Paypal address (if you paid with one), and your account’s secret question/answer to get the refund. You can get your secret question by logging out and when you log back in it will ask for your birthday (but it means birthdate) and then it will ask you your secret question.

  1. Did you receive your refund? I applied for, and received confirmation of, my entitlement for a refund. But thus far it hasn’t arrived. I am trying to find out if anyone else received theirs.

    Thanks, D’Arcy

  4. Now that you mention it, I don’t think I did get my refund.

I did get a refund check from someone else around the same time that I thought was it but then I decided it wasn’t for it.

How about it? Anyone else actually get their refund?!?

  5. No refund yet. I received my confirmation e-mail on 11/4/06. It stated, “Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for check processing.” It has been about 20 weeks now. I e-mailed support@mailblocks.com on 3/26/06 to get an update. I got a failure notice on 3/27/06. I think we have been ripped off.

  6. Same here…NO refund, and Paypal refuses to help. I’m thinking about complaining to AOL, although I did email them a while back with no response. I am going to try again via phone.
