Defying Gravity still Free at iTunes

Written By: Gary on August 23, 2009 2 Comments

defygrav.jpgSo I noticed not only does iTunes still have the Defying Gravity pilot for free the next episode is also free (that’s 3 episodes, the 2-part pilot and Threshold) and it’s in HD! So if you’ve been wanting to catch up, now is the time…

Who knows how long they’ll keep doing this, it’s been three weeks for the pilot now. If I knew they were putting up HD episodes all the time, I’d be happy to watch the show a few weeks behind. I’d even be happy if they inserted advertisements to pay for it. Are you listening Apple and the TV distribution cartel?!?

And dont’ forget, all the episodes of Defying Gravity is on Hulu and they’re in 480p if you have the bandwidth.

I’m guessing they’re giving it away because nobody would want to pay money for it. Even when free, I don’t find it worth watching… it’s boring characters in boring situations in a boring environment. The way they are so content to let scenes drag on for mind-numbing spans of time just shows they really don’t have a story to tell. Maybe eventually they have a plan to go somewhere with this mess but, if these early episodes are any indication, I won’t be sticking around to find out.

Sorry but I disagree with Dave 100%. I wonder what show he was watching? The show is far more interesting than some of the crap on tv but if ABC should decide to give up on it I hope the SyFy channel, or other network, picks it up. The networks in their usual stupendously stupid wisdom usually give up on shows for no discernible reason and they wind up doing REALLY well on cable. Look at Monk. Defying Gravity has legs. Naysayers can go watch Seinfeld, I can’t imagine a worse punishment.
