In December 2008 I upgraded to WordPress 2.7 (from Movable Type).
- WordPress and Plug-ins
- WordPress – Awsome blogging software, currently using whatever the latest version is (due to it’s easy upgrade options).
- Akismet– Blocks spam from comments and/or pings. I think I need another plug-in to work with this, it catches most everything but I’d like it to delete some other items without me ever seeing them (posts with 10+ links, with “viagra”, “animal sex” etc.)
- Google XML Sitemaps – to build my sitemaps for Google.
- Platinum SEO Pack – To help with my meta-tags.
- Different Posts Per Page – So that my archive pages can have more posts (many more). I’d like to have as many as possible but some still get archived on separate pages (this is one thing that seemed to work better with Movable Type).

- Ecto – Awesome OS X blogging software.

- wsFTP – Plain old Windows FTP software.
