333 – I’m halfway there

So it’s been a relatively bad week. I’m still sick (two weeks now) and they can’t figure out what’s up. I haven’t been sleeping well (got about 3-4 hours last night). I’ve had numerous overlapping appointments and meetings that made the week pretty goofy. I got a phone call from a buddy in the emergency room who wrapped his car around a pole (literally). Spent lots of time in the hospital and checking on things. I’ve been driving around with tin cans in my car since Monday and haven’t had time to take them back.

All I wanted to do after work was get some Thai food, go home, watch some TV and crash. So I get home and realize the cable is out and so is the Internet. (It’s SciFi Friday! How am I supposed to watch Galactica?!?)

So why did I decide I’m halfway to hell? The cable went out at 3:33…

Updates:

  • He’s out of the hospital and fine now. I can’t beleive he’s okay with the shape the car was in.
  • Comcast cable appointment at 10am-Noon tomorrow. After they made me test all the stuff I already tested.
  • I have to use the cell phone to connect to the internet. :(
+ Dinner was delicious. I’m off to shower and to bed!

This post it Dean’s doing, he asked what’s up?!? That’s not exactly true, I probably would have whined about it anyways…

    1. Thai food and tv watching sounds like a really relaxing thing to do… if the cable ever comes back on.

I hope next week is better for you and you feel better.

    2. mircles happen – glad your friend is doing well.

      feel better yourself!

no sci-fi!! that is just NOT right.

    3. I’m with you Gary on troubleshooting the cable stuff before calling. Basic repairs that the checklist entails, I can handle without the help–and have solved problems without having to call numerous times. But I’m willing to play the game when I have to call and just fake it that I’m actaully going through the checklist with the service rep just so I can get someone out here.

      Hope you’re feeling better soon!!

    4. Sorry to hear you’ve had such a bad week. Glad to hear your friend is okay! I hope next week will be a better one for you.
