It was probably my least favorite episode. So if it was the first time you had a chance to watch Joan of Arcadia, you do need to give it another try. Too many people arguing and fighting, not the normal happy go lucky show that I normally praise so highly.

They were both very beautiful and happy. They’re about six and half months now and very active. They sure keep Dave and Patti pretty busy. They were just bouncing and smiling (except for when Nathan was crying). They’ve both got hair and some teeth are starting to pop through (I think that might be tied in to the crying). They were just a blast to play with and my cousin Dave cooked us all dinner. Thanks Dave!
Of course you can, you just might not win in the opinion of the other players. Rules do help since they what not to do. That’s what rules generally do, right? Tell you what not to do. “Have a nice day!” isn’t a rule (but it should be). I’m kind of babbling I just thought it was an interesting sticker. I guess I could have just posted it without any text…
But the rules thing actually made me think about Joan this week. The talk was about choices, actually making choices, and wouldn’t it be easier if we knew the outcome and could make the “correct” choice. It wouldn’t really be a choice then now would it. It’s interesting on how God “bullies” Joan into doing things but talks about choices and outcomes and such.
Back to the rules thing, rules are good, just people need to know when they can be broken. At McDonalds, a cheeseburger comes with ketchup, pickle, onions and mustard (right?) that’s on their list of rules on how to make a sandwich. Wouldn’t it be crazy if every McDonalds made their burgers different? But you can make a special order (thank God for that!) and change that rule so there are no pickles or mustard on it. If you asked nice they’d probably even put BBQ sauce on it, which would be way against the rules (but they might charge you two bits). So sometimes they are good and they let me ‘have it my way’.
Here’s all the states I’ve traveled to. Stops at airports don’t count (and I didn’t count the states I went through when I traveled from Seattle to Chicago by train). I might be wrong about some of those gaps in the North East. Heck, from the map I’n not even sure what states those gaps are.
I’m thinking my next state to fill in might be New Mexico, I’ve always wanted to go to Roswell.

Actually I haven’t played Scrabble in a while. If you like Scrabble and you have a Palm (or PocketPC) handheld they make an excellent version that you can play against the computer or others.
But I digress. The reason for tonight’s post is that I saw this on Heather’s Blog and had to do it myself… Especially since mine is bigger than Heather’s.

I noticed some formatting problems on my blog today. It was hard to read on some Windows browsers. The text on the left flowed under the text on the right. I’m still working how to fix it. I messed with the CSS for a bit and now it looks okay in most browsers but in some the left side isn’t very wide. The important part is that it’s readable. I’ll be playing with it to see if I can get it working a little better, but CSS isn’t really my thing so…
Have you seen Keen Eddie? It’s about a cop from New York who screwed up a case and got sent to London to fix it. He liked London so he decided to stay for a while. He’s got this odd roommate (her mom sublet the apartment thinking she’s at college) that he lives with and adds to the storyline (sometimes). It’s a little bit about cultural differences and his issues with dealing with being there. I’m not saying the show has any big socially redeeming values but it’s fun. It’s on Bravo, which means it’s on about 72 times a week. It’s not really new, it was on one of the other networks and got canceled but it’s back with the old episodes and four new (or maybe just unaired) episodes.
I don’t recommend many television shows so you should probably check it out!

It’s been so nice outside this weekend. It was a little warmer but it’s the sunshine that made it extra nice.
During the week it’s dark when I leave for work and dark when I come home, I feel like a vampire. I’ll take 20 degrees colder in trade if I can get some sunlight to go along with it!
