Odd Photo times…

So my photos from Egypt have the wrong time in them (embedded in the EXIF data) because I didn’t set the date/time on my cameras. I was going to try to fix them but it was going to be a little harder since there was a time change when I was there. So I spent some time today fixing that up and renaming the photos. The photos now have the date and time as part of the filename plus the imbedded EXIF data (the part of a digital photo that has info about the picture like time, exposure, what kind of camera, etc.) has the correct date/time also. All new photos posted should have the correct date/time information posted in them.

26 Things – November 2005

So there’s a new 26 Things Photo Scavenger Hunt this month (they only do it a few times a year) that has 26 things to get a photo of and post them all by the end of the month. I’m really going to try and do this, I always start (or at least think about this) but never finish/do it. I’ve got a very cool refrigerator to use for the “a fridge” category (assuming that’s what they mean) and I’ve got a few other ideas for some of the others…

Friday Fiver

1. What’s the last item you mailed?
Last week I mailed a newspaper article to my Mom that mentioned me in it. She still likes to get stuff like that (at least I think she does).
2. Who has made you smile recently?
Last night I played with a friend’s 2 year old for a while and he was a lot of fun.
3. What’s the weather like outside?
Beautiful! Very sunny but still a little cool. I just went for a walk with Heather (who’s in town this weekend).
4. Do you consider youself a good judge of character?
Generally I’m a good judge. If I’m wrong, it doesn’t take long to figure it out.
5. What’s your favorite photograph?
I really like the one I just got of my cousin’s twins a few weeks ago! I’m sure I have all time favorite but none come to mind right now.

From the Friday Fiver.

WordPhoto.org

WordPhoto.org appears to have just gone back to a daily format (probably just Monday through Friday). They change the topic everyday and you can upload a photo related to that topic. Pretty simple, eh? Here’s all the photos I’ve submitted are and here is a list of the archived words. PS – Once there’s a new word, you can’t upload an old one any more!

Photos! (London)

Okay so I’ve finally got some London PHOTOS up but I haven’t had the chance to label them (maybe later?). You can use the right and left arrows (on the keyboard?) or click on the thumbnails to navigate through the photos. I’m not sure how slow this will be over dial-up, I thinks it will cache the photos so if you let it sit for a few minutes it should pre-load the photos and make it run a lot faster.
