Don’t Be Afraid… Be Ready!

So I’ve seen a billboard that says this but I keep forgetting the address (which is pretty simple http://ready.gov/) and I finally remembered it once I got home. It’s a Homeland Security site with Ready Business and Ready Adult sections. It’s got a coming soon for a Ready Kids section which I’m assuming will be up soon since September is National Preparedness Month. It’s got suggestions on supplies and what to keep on hand (easy access to medicines and stuff) and brochures, posters and other things along those lines. It’s not just terrorism-type stuff there’s some natural disaster info too. (I just thought it was time for a PSA).

Later: This site is now a FEMA site and after the marketing of “Ready.gov” they now require the “www” in the address and the other links don’t work now either.
