Spring Forward – I hate changing the clocks

DST around the world (Picture from wikipedia)As usual, it’s that time of year when someone else thinks it’s better to (de)regulate my internal clock. It’s funny all the news stories this year that are commenting on the health issues, sleepy drivers and how much energy this is really wasting energy.

For those of you in other places in the world that don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s Daylight Savings Time (DST).

At least all my electronics seemed to adapt properly…

Time Change

They do the change due to Daylight Savings tonight so while it feels like 10 PM it’s really 11 PM (so I’m off to bed)!

Daylight Savings again (ugh!)

This weekend, October 30th it’s time to adjust your clocks because of the Daylight Savings Time (DST) again. As always, I’ll express my displeasure with the whole DST thing. My solution – just move it a half hour in-between and leave it alone!! It’s rumored that it’s Ben Franklin’s fault but supposedly that’s not what he was trying to say. Read the WikiPedia entry and you can get a little more background.

At least it’s “fall back” (at 2am set your clocks for 1am) so I can get some extra sleep out of the deal.

PS: Don’t forget to send your DST greeting card.
