Doctor Who’s “Missy” is at Two Streams medical Facility?!?

This can’t be a coincidence can it?!? “Heaven” is the same place as part of “Two Streams” medical facility?!? “Missy” seems to be collecting people that died because of (or for) The Doctor, but why?

The second question is why here? This is clearly the same place and it’s not like they tried to disguise it (other than lots of flowers). How weird is that? This is the Two Streams health care facility where Amy Pond was stuck for 30+ years back in season 6 in episode 10 (The Girl Who Waited) and now they’re using it for Missy’s “Heaven”. It could a coincidence and they just thought no one would notice…

This can’t be a coincidence can it? “Heaven” is the same place as part of “Two Streams” medical facility?!? It’s pretty much the same camera angle (if I dug around more, I could probably find one even closer).

To be clear (just for the DW geeks): this is the time stream where older Amy shouldn’t exist any more (the place itself should still exist) but this image is probably from before younger (normal age) Amy was rescued, we assume the older Amy disappeared when the younger was rescued (re-writing time) but we don’t know for certain; she was captured and if the time being rewritten didn’t erase her then it’s likely she would have been killed with “kindness” (but could have been saved last minute). I’m not saying this has anything to do with Amy (it’s more likely an evil alternate version of Clara!), it’d be a stretch that this could be her evil child that somehow grew up in the facility; not likely, as this was post Melody being born and she couldn’t have more kids, but she was in a medical facility…

Amy, Make them remember you…

I’ve said before, Daleks are one of my least favorite Doctor Who villains, but “Asylum of the Daleks” is probably one of my favorite episodes and I can’t stop thinking (remembering?) a specific part. Last week, when The Doctor thought he was going to die, he told Amy to “make them remember you”. Why?

remember-you.png

The episode has a bit of remembering. Most significantly with Oswin Osawld saying “remember me”. Amy made Professor Bracewell (a Dalek robot, not a Dalek) remember his humanity back in WW II. Those two things have a bit in common. But there were also the human/Daleks with their insides scraped out, who were still intact inside.

Or did he just want to stir up her memories to get her thinking about her and Rory?

But I think back to early when he first met her when she did not know what a Dalek is. She didn’t remember them attacking Earth in her time. Yes, I know we’ve re-written history since then, but she didn’t know that before then.

But it also makes me think back the day he first met Amy, there were no ducks in the duck pond. No ducks in the duck pond where Amy Pond lives. This is significant. It has to be. It’s been referenced a few times.

Not to leave you with the my concerns of the ducklessness of duck ponds, I’ll change topics. The other surprise was the old model Daleks on the ship, I thought they’d be exterminated at the end as they were in “Victory of the Daleks” in World War II. Another Dalek inconsistency that I’ll have to live with.

Wait! This is actually important and likely (possibly) Spoiler containing. At Christmas we will get a new companion named Clara, her’s some thoughts about here. Is Oswin Oswald actually Clara? Will Clara someday be nicknamed Oswin and grow up to be the “woman” we met last week? Remember The Doctor never saw her, so if he meets her later he won’t recognize her. More significantly, she never asked the question; when he said “The Doctor” she did not say “Doctor Who?”. If this doesn’t make any sense (spoiler coming) it’s because the new companion that we get as a Christmas Present, Clara, is played by Jenna-Louise Coleman and Oswin (who you met last week) is also played by Jenna-Louise Coleman. Or is Jenna-Louise Coleman just playing two different characters. That’s kind of a coincidence if you factor in there are only four episodes between last week and the Christmas special. Amy and Martha both had appearances (as different characters) in earlier episodes, but they didn’t know that they were going to be playing companions in the future, this was done knowing that. On purpose…

I actually thought they were bringing her in early and lying about her starting at Christmas. That would have been a fun surprise.

And yes, that’s right, I said only four episodes in-between last week and the Christmas special. Sadly, this half-season of Doctor Who is only five episodes, September 1-29th…

Only two more weeks!!!

I can’t wait…

Doctor Who “Space” and “Time”.

So as part of the Red Nose Day fundraiser The Doctor had a short appearance on the show Comic Relief.

The big bonus is he left two short 3-minute episodes behind! One called “Space” and one called “Time

They’re incorrectly both labeled “time”.

It also tells up that the next episode of Doctor Who will be on Easter. I’m not sure if this is a special, or the start of a new season, but either way, I’ll be happy!
