Introducing “The Book”

If you’ve ever helped anyone with a computer you’ll love this! This is can also be referred to as “The Medieval Helpdesk“.

This is in Norwegian, so you can probably turn the volume down, but it’s subtitled. I just watched this with a bunch of technology directors and we were all laughing out loud.

  1. Ha ha ha! That is what I feel like when I try to help my boss at work with his computer…

  2. That was pretty darn awesome. I should use it for some lesson someday.

  3. Yes! That clip is Soooooo on the money! I’ve seen it before and it is one of two scenes that play in my head when actually doing my rotation at helpdesk duty.

    “Move Around the leaf…”

The other clip is that scene in the Pixar film “Bugs Life” when the ants are carrying food back to their anthill and a leaf flutters down and lands in front of them: The ants just stand there unable to figure out what to do until one leader ant starts demonstrate and then gently urge in soothing tones to, “Move around the leaf… ”
