Blogrolling broken?

I noticed last night that no one in my BlogRoll list (lower tight) had been updated lately (for 48 hours they should be bold and italic), it was a very short list. But this morning there wasn’t anyone listed as updated (but at least the list is still there). Any one else having this problem?

LATER: I know Jennifer chimed in (below) to say she was having the same problem. It seems to be okay now as of Monday, October 3, 2005.

  1. Mine has been that way too. I’m glad to hear its not just me. I was getting worried.

  2. Blogrolling has outages every few weeks lately. I sent an email to TuCows and they deny that anything is going on, but I know for a fact that a few weeks back the site was completely down. I also asked them if they intended to keep the service alive and they assured me they were. I don’t really believe anything I’m told by an anonymous person at a company, tho, so it’s still my belief that Blogrolling has been abandoned and is basically running on autopilot. I’ll be really pissed if it dies.

Say, Gary, I have a really good hosting guy (itxdesign.com RAWKS) who has already said he’d be interested in doing a project… If blogrolling bites it, why don’t we start another free linking service? There’s a software package called Mambo that seems to be pretty useful for such things.

    Just a thought.

    :-)
